Shabbat

Shabbat is central to Jewish life and observance. It’s a day of rest, a day of reflection, a day of prayer.  Kabbalat Shabbat and Shacharit services are led by Rabbi Shlomi Tabib in our beautiful new rooftop synagogue.

Following Shabbat services, festive kosher meals are served.

Although we don’t always have a minyan on weekdays, every Jewish resident or traveler is welcome to attend services. Stocked with a variety of essential Jewish books including siddurim and chumashim (prayer books), the synagogue is open to all Jews regardless of affiliation. Shabbat services and meals are held every weekend, with services commencing shortly after candle lighting.

Every Friday night, Kabbalat Shabbat is followed by a festive kosher dinner featuring traditional Israeli and Shabbat delicacies. On Shabbat day, Shacharit service begins at 10:00 am, followed by a Kiddush lunch at 12:00 pm. Although there is no set price for Shabbat meals, most guests contribute according to their wishes.
