JTCA Leadership

Jeffrey D. Schwartz (薛智偉)

Jeffrey D. Schwartz was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio in a conservative Jewish family. His father was a self-made industrialist and the family had always been prominent members of the local Jewish community. After graduating in 1973 from Ohio State University with a degree in Chinese, linguistics, and psychology, he immediately moved to Taipei. After initially working in a part of the family business, he quickly moved on to create his own business empire.

After 48 years of success, the Four Star Group has become one of the top supply chain management and creative houses for consumer products serving mass markets worldwide. During this time, Jeffrey developed many strategic relationships within Taiwan and throughout Asian and western markets to help propel his company’s growth throughout the years.

Outside of work, he has become active in many local charitable groups, social groups, and government-related think tanks. Jeffrey is the proud father of his son and daughter-in-law, JD & Raquel, and his daughter Elizabeth, and is the proud grandfather to two young grandchildren.

Along with his wife NaTang, Jeffrey is firmly focused on creating a dedicated place for the Jewish community that will reach out to Jewish communities globally as well as locally. The JTCA’s mission is to create a legacy that gives back to society in Taiwan and promotes mutual understanding and collaboration between members of the Jewish community and the rest of the world.
