Ever since we established the Jewish Taiwan Cultural Association (JTCA), one of the core elements of our mission has been to support the broader community in Taiwan. To this end, NaTang and I are very pleased to announce a donation of NTD 3 million to the Community Services Center.
Over the years, under the leadership of Director Adam McMillan, the Center’s programs have expanded to include newcomer orientations, cross-cultural training, a monthly magazine (Centered on Taipei), classes, and tours.
Our donation will go towards supporting the Center’s recent relocation to a newly expanded space in Shilin, providing subsidized mental health counseling sessions, and supporting its several programs and initiatives.
Our donation also supported the Center’s annual auction fundraiser dinner last week. The JTCA was the Patron Sponsor of this event, which raises much needed funds that enable the Center to continue to provide the valuable services that it does.

Introducing afternoon tea @ the Lab
We’re delighted to announce a delicious new afternoon tea menu available at the Kosher Culinary Lab from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Sunday through Thursday.
For NTD800 per person, enjoy a set menu featuring smoked salmon with mini bagel, pastrami on rye bread (w/ horseradish sauce), falafel taco (or) kosher quiche, chef’s deviled eggs, Jewish rice pudding (or) mango coconut pudding, orange muffin, and a macron (or) hamantaschen. Served with a beverage of your choice.
Prefer to order a la carte? Try our kosher beef hamburger or pastrami on rye bread with potato salad. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available.
